The Full Story
Phillip C Rogers, a lawyer out of Grand Rapids Michigan, is a total FDCPA lawyer. If you look at his Judgments, he always asks for $3500 in damages for the Plaintiff, while he racks up huge Attorney Fees, his bread and butter. For his frequent flyer Plaintiffs, he usually uses the same complaint, but changes the names of the Defendants, which can be done quickly, yet he'll still say he spent up to 30 hours to draft the complaint. He will intimidate you, and include as many defendants as possible, naming your company, and anyone else that could be associated with it. The more Defendants for him, the better. He will make outrageous claims, and appear to know everything about you, when he is actually only speculating. If you login to Pacer, you will see how many suits he's filed. This guy is all about intimidation, and making himself money.
His complaints always list a violation of the DPPA, Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994. If you lawyer up, you can likely get this quashed.

His son, Kevin Rogers, is also in this line of business. Phillip Rogers has no website, and a AOL email address! AOL. Really? Can't even afford a website and private domain name? I mean really, consumerlawyer@aol.com?

***Keep in mind that if you're a property owner, you'll likely want to retain an attorney or attempt to settle with Phillip Rogers yourself. He's really tenacious.

This attorney seems to have done a good job in responding to one of his lawsuits, and lives in Michigan. I'm not recommending this attorney, and do not know her. Just read one of her responses to a complaint he filed. Plus, she's already familiar with his tactics.
